Industrial scale yarn spinning and fabric weaving use a number of resins and waxes in addition to the pesticides used in the cultivation of
conventional cotton, all of which may cause skin allergies. Many such pesticides are known to be carcinogenic and also known to easily
penetrate the skin.

Organic cotton, on the other hand is cultivated without the use of toxic synthetic chemicals.
Organic cotton farming has a lower carbon footprint and much smaller per unit greenhouse gas emission, it uses lesser water and even rejuvenates the soil.
